Job and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the process of receiving calves and analyze their conditions to determine which calves are suitable for raising, culling, or euthanasia.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the maintenance and care of calves and their facilities to ensure optimal growth of the calves.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of preventive programs and health control to keep the calves in a healthy condition.
- Conduct periodic evaluations of the calf rearing system.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the management of dry pregnant cows, transition cows, heifer transition, and birthing.
- Coordinate, supervise, and be responsible for the birthing process and the care of mothers and calves after birthing.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOP) and regularly update them when necessary, following the established system and procedures.
- Plan and conduct training for all staff to continuously improve their knowledge, skills, and work attitudes in line with company needs.
- Complete reports on the implementation of calf care and maintenance and ensure that the reports are completed on time with accurate data.
- Consistently implement 5S to create a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by superiors or management to achieve the set objectives.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cattle farming.
- Proficient in operating MS Office on a computer.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
