Role Overview

At Alumio, we are looking for a Senior Integration Developer
based in Bandung to strengthen our team, with willingness to work on-site as part of the local team. This role is ideal for someone with strong integration experience, solid technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global clients and partners.

Our team works on a variety of projects, from building connectors – pre-configured integrations that move and transform data between systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, eCommerce etc.) into Alumio, to developing end-to-end integration templates with Alumio as the middleware (e.g., Akeneo to BigCommerce, Spryker, CommerceTools, and more). By joining us, you'll collaborate with cross-functional departments, enhance your expertise, and gain exposure to new processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

As a part of our team, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Participating in daily/weekly standups with local and global teams;
  • Building new integrations between systems (ERP, CRM, eCommerce etc.);
  • Monitoring and analyzing potential issues, participating in the process improving sessions (meetings with Product Architect);
  • Providing quick fixes or recommending improvements to optimize connector/template performance;
  • Investigating, making a proof of concept and full estimation of projects (connectors, new templates);
  • Writing and updating connector/template documentation;
  • Collaborating with clients and partners for workshops, troubleshooting, or implementation sessions.

Work Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a Support Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Software Engineer with exposure to enterprise integrations.
  • Professional English (spoken and written) for global business communication.
  • Prior experience with iPaaS platforms, ESB, or integration middleware is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in Linux OS administration and troubleshooting.
  • Deep understanding of API-based integrations, including: REST, SOAP, RPC, GraphQL.
  • Authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API keys, JWT, Basic Auth, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SQL-based databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and handling data mappings.
  • Strong ability to design, build, and test connectors between two or more systems (ERP, PIM, eCommerce, CRM, DAM, etc.).
  • Skilled at mapping, transforming, and normalizing data between different systems.
  • Experience in working with API documentation from third-party vendors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot platform failures, optimize performance, and propose improvements.
  • Proven experience collaborating with external partners, SaaS vendors, or system integrators in building/maintaining integrations.
  • Ability to create clear and structured documentation for connector setup, usage, and troubleshooting in Confluence.
