Role Summary:
As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing
new business opportunities for ABC Vision Capital's advisory services. Your core objective is to attract
local and international clients who seek to enter or expand in the Indonesian market—helping them
cut risks, time, and costs in their strategic business decisions.
This is a client-facing role requiring strategic acumen, sectoral awareness, and a consultative sales
approach to connect client needs with ABC's high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Prospecting & Lead Generation
• Identify and engage prospective clients (MNCs, SMEs, startups, government-linked entities) with
strategic interest in Indonesia.
• Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through research, outreach, referrals, and events.
Sales Outreach & Consultative Engagement:
• Conduct discovery calls and client meetings to understand business needs across advisory
areas.
• Present ABC Vision Capital's service offerings in a compelling and tailored manner.
• Collaborate with sector advisors to shape fit-for-purpose proposals.
Market Expansion & Client Onboarding
• Assist foreign companies in understanding market-entry considerations including regulations,
partnerships, and business risks.
• Support onboarding of new clients and maintain CRM records with timely updates.
Sector Intelligence & Collaboration
• Stay informed on industry trends in ABC's key sectors and use insights to refine outreach
strategies.
• Work closely with internal consulting teams to ensure alignment between sales goals and
delivery capabilities.
Partnerships & Strategic Introductions
• Facilitate introductions between clients and relevant stakeholders (e.g., distributors, investors,
local partners).
• Support the commercial side of due diligence and M&A advisory engagements.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, advisory services, or market-entry consulting.
• Experience working with or selling to multinational companies and/or investors is highly valued.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Solid understanding of cross-border business dynamics, especially in Southeast Asia.
• Able to communicate complex solutions in a clear, business-oriented manner.
• Highly self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable managing client relationships.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (other languages are a plus).
