Job Description:
- Select and plan product assortments based on market trends, sales data, and consumer preferences.
- Coordinate product purchasing processes, including order placement and follow-up with suppliers or principals.
- Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and promotional deals to optimize profitability and supplier partnerships.
- Manage product allocation and distribution across stores to ensure optimal stock availability and sell-through.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to recommend assortment and pricing adjustments.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to execute pricing strategies and promotional activities.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising, or Category Management within retail, FMCG, or multibrand environments.
- Skilled in product selection and assortment planning aligned with market and consumer insights.
- Experienced in purchasing and coordinating with suppliers or principals for product procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills in pricing and trading terms with suppliers.
- Knowledgeable in stock allocation, supply chain processes, and store distribution planning.
- Capable of developing effective pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales performance.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under target and time pressure.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) for communication with suppliers and business partners.
