I'm an entrepreneur from Germany running a team in Indonesia, and I'm looking for a UX/UI Designer to be my fifth team member
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at the ground level and shape the visual and user experience direction of multiple e-commerce and SaaS projects.
Initially, this role will be freelance (full-time or part-time) while I set up the company, with the goal of transitioning to a full-time position after 4 months. The role is Jakarta-based, with the possibility of becoming 100% remote after the first year.

- Design and improve UX/UI for Shopify, WordPress, and custom web applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual design systems in Figma, Miro, Canva, Photoshop, etc.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
- Conduct UX research and translate findings into actionable improvements
- Maintain and evolve our design style guides and component libraries
- Work closely with the team to test and iterate on user flows and layouts
- Contribute ideas for new features, design optimizations, and brand evolution
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – communication is key
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design for web or mobile
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Prototyping, Variants)
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and usability principles
- Experience collaborating with developers (bonus: understanding of HTML/CSS basics)
- Attention to detail and a passion for pixel-perfect, functional design
- Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, independent, and eager to grow
- Good communication skills – able to explain design decisions clearly
