Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct consumer surveys related to product performance, packaging, scent, texture, and overall cosmetic product preferences.
  • Collect and analyze market research data (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Identify beauty trends and consumer behavior in local and global markets.
  • Perform benchmarking on competitor products.
  • Manage internal survey databases (Consumer Test, Expert Panel, FGD) and convert them into quantitative insights.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or research agencies when required.
  • Ensure research methodologies meet standards and produce valid, representative results.
  • Conduct Post Market Surveys and identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Prepare Product Launch Checklists for each SKU.
  • Update NPD timelines and project status.
  • Prepare launch status summaries and report issues to management.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in any major; preferably in Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Market Analyst in Personal Care & Cosmetics (skincare, haircare, bodycare, etc.).
  • Proficient in tools such as Google Form, Excel, Lark, Power BI, Tableau, or other statistical software.
  • Capable of designing and conducting consumer surveys (offline & online) involving product concepts, scent, texture, color, and packaging.
  • Strong ability to analyze global cosmetic trends, active ingredient innovations, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Able to prepare Market Insight Summary reports to support Product Development & Marketing.
  • Skilled in managing internal research databases and converting them into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with R&D, Marketing, Packaging, and Procurement teams.
