Job Description

PT Jaya Obayashi is seeking an experienced MEP Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Karawang, West Java. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all stages of engineering project testing are completed. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures to verify the proper installation and operation of all material & equipment from owner or principal.
• Conduct system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with project teams, including planning engineers, technical site team, and sub‑contractors, to coordinate and execute commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning records, test reports, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the successful handover of commissioned systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in the use of commissioning tools, testing equipment, and related software.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues in MEP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical and MEP standards, codes, and regulations.
