Job Description
:
- Monitor vessel (Floating Crane) technical operations, maintenance, and performance through reports and inspections.
- Identify and address excessive wear, implementing solutions with the Technical Manager.
- Oversee PMS implementation and optimize spare parts, lubricants, and fuel usage.
- Manage survey schedules, statutory compliance, and conduct onboard inspections.
- Plan surveys, repairs, and dry-docking for maximum time and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Marine Superintendents, Masters, and Chief Engineers on maintenance programs.
- Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and surveys, ensuring cost control.
- Maintain cost data and coordinate with Procurement for efficient sourcing.
- Supervise external repairs and manage repair specifications and equipment supply.
- Ensure all vessel certifications remain valid and up to date.
- Prepare monthly expenditure reports and submit them to the Technical Manager.
- Regularly audit inventory lists and ensure spare part requests align with vessel needs and urgency.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Systems, or equivalent fields.
- Possess a valid ATT II or ATT III certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in maritime operations and handle Floating Crane.
- Experience in managing technical operations, maintenance, and vessel inspections is preferred.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for onboard inspections and surveys.
