Our Mining Group

We have a global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you'll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining. Our tailings engineers work on large-scale, world-class projects both in Australia and internationally. We are the tailings consultant of choice for several global mining companies, and our team works across the entire full lifecycle of tailings projects, from feasibility and site investigation through to design, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and closure.

The Opportunity

Are you ready to take on a leadership role that goes beyond delivering a single project? We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in Jakarta, leading the successful delivery of a large-scale mining project while also contributing to the growth and maturity of our regional project management capability.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about both project delivery and leaving a lasting legacy by shaping how projects are delivered across the region.

• Lead the end-to-end execution of a significant mining project in Indonesia, ensuring delivery to scope, budget, schedule, and safety standards.
• Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and EPCM partners.
• Build and strengthen relationships with government, regulators, clients, and local stakeholders.
• Contribute to the long-term success of the Jakarta office by mentoring local project managers, embedding best-practice processes, and developing capability for future major assignments.
• Act as a senior presence within the regional leadership team, helping position the business for ongoing success across the region.

About You

You will be a highly skilled project leader with a proven track record in mining, resources, or large-scale infrastructure. We are looking for:

• 10+ years' experience managing large capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, commercial management, and EPC/EPCM delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to balance project delivery with capability building.
• Strong stakeholder management capability, particularly with government and community stakeholders.
• A collaborative, resilient, and results-driven leadership style.
