Backend Engineer | Full-Time | Work From Office (SCBD, South Jakarta)
In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support business-critical functions
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance at scale
• Integrate with third-party platforms especially payment gateway, CRM tools, and data analytics platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and improve backend architecture and coding practices
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
• have fun with the team
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development
• Proficient in one is a must) or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Rust, Elixir).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
Familiar with static typing: TypeScript
• Experienced with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiar with Git and version control best practices
• Comfortable with Docker, basic CI/CD flows, and working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving and performance tuning skills
• Able to collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and Frontend Developers to deliver robust features
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Willing to work on-site (WFO) at our SCBD, Jakarta office
Nice to Have:
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Exposure to fintech or mobility-related products
