Job Summary:

Create exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful and innovative interior design. Responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing, and brand-aligned interior spaces across guestrooms, lobbies, F&B outlets, meeting spaces, spas, and other hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hotel stakeholders (owners, operations, development, and branding teams) to understand the design brief, brand standards, and functional requirements of each space.
  • Design and develop interior concepts that align with the hotel's brand identity, guest expectations, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare design presentations, including mood boards, 3D renderings, space planning layouts, and material boards.
  • Specify and source FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), artwork, decorative accessories, fabrics, wall and floor finishes tailored to hospitality usage and durability.
  • Ensure design concepts comply with hospitality industry regulations and building codes (e.g., fire safety, accessibility).
  • Coordinate closely with, contractors, procurement teams, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of the design vision.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee installation of design elements during renovation, refurbishment, or new build hotel projects.
  • Stay updated with hospitality design trends, guest experience innovations, and sustainability practices in hotel interiors.
  • Assist in budget preparation and value engineering without compromising design integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization software.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality-grade materials, finishes, and guest-centric space planning.
  • Knowledge of hotel operational flows and back-of-house design considerations.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
