Qualifications
We're looking for a Logistics & Distribution Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective end-to-end product distribution across all channels.
This role oversees transportation, warehouse coordination, and order fulfillment to maintain operational excellence and ensure timely delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Distribution Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly distribution plans based on sales forecasts and stock availability.
- Coordinate and schedule shipments from warehouses to distributors, outlets, and customers using the most efficient routes and transportation modes.
2. Transportation Management
- Manage internal fleets and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA), focusing on on-time delivery and zero-damage performance.
- Monitor and analyze transport costs and key metrics such as Cost per Drop, Truck Utilization, and On-Time Delivery Rate.
3. Warehouse Coordination
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure stock readiness and loading accuracy before dispatch.
- Ensure picking, packing, and loading processes follow company SOPs and safety standards.
4. Order Fulfillment
- Ensure customer orders are delivered according to schedule, quantity, and documentation (Delivery Order, Invoice, Shipping Note).
- Handle operational issues such as failed deliveries, product returns, and damage claims.
5. Logistics Data & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze reports on distribution volumes, transportation costs, and service levels.
- Use ERP/WMS/TMS systems to track shipment status and performance trends.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve cost efficiency and delivery performance.
- Apply optimization strategies such as route planning, load consolidation, and fleet performance monitoring.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all distribution activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and government regulations.
- Maintain product security and integrity throughout the distribution process.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution operations (preferably in FMCG, beauty, or 3PL environments).
- Proven experience managing fleet operations, transporters, and warehouse-distribution coordination.
- Demonstrated ability in route optimization, cost control, and improving delivery performance.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of distribution management, fleet planning, and logistics KPIs.
- Proficient in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting using Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI.
- Familiar with HSE standards and transportation regulations.
