Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classes and workshops on UI/UX design, usability, and design thinking.
- Design, update, and improve curriculum, lesson plans, and hands-on projects to ensure industry relevance.
- Guide students in creating portfolios with real-world design projects (web, mobile, and product design).
- Teach tools and practices such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Provide mentoring, constructive critiques, and feedback on student assignments and projects.
- Collaborate with the Academic Team Leader to align learning outcomes with market needs and partner projects.
- Stay updated with UI/UX trends, design systems, and accessibility standards.
- Mentor junior instructors and teaching assistants to maintain teaching quality.
- Monitor student progress and report outcomes to the Academic Team Leader.
- Represent the academy in workshops, design events, and collaborations as a UI/UX expert.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design projects (web or mobile).
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and usability testing tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, accessibility, and user-centered design.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passionate about education, creativity, and building strong design talent.
