MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Possess an adequate background on mechatronics aspects of industrial machinery.
- A well-versed communicator with a global mindset, conducting an intensive communication with our in-house engineering resources, local customers, global management offices and factories on a day-to-day basis.
- Understanding the concept of sparepart business and industrial aftermarket, as well as knowing the procurement chain and processes: from processing of incoming orders up to order placement to our factories and vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, im- and export procedures, required documentation, and applicable regulations. Knowledge of the most commonly used ERP/CRM and im-/export management software will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
- Excellent time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with utmost attention to detail.
TASKS & ROUTINESincl.:
- Maintain customer relationships, ensuring high QoS and customer satisfaction.
- Managing incoming requests for field service attendances, scheduling service visits and travel arrangements for our engineers, keying in technical data into our CRM system for field services
- Involved in technical discussions with our engineering resources to solve customer's problems and get the required spareparts identified, preparing quotes for both the spareparts and field services, enhancing their sales opportunities, processing customers' orders and initiating orders to our factories and vendors.
- Managing international and domestic shipping processes, lodging warranty claims and monitoring aging plant warranties, as well as assisting the logistic supports for the warranty returns and paid repairs of defective spareparts to our factories.
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders (incl. customs brokers, freight forwarders and other third-party logistics providers) to streamline the import process, ensuring smooth customs and all associated logistics operations to reduce the lead times.
- Oversee, prepare and manage the entire ex- and import processes, from documentation (incl. im- and export docs, bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists) up to the final delivery, handling any issues promptly and efficiently in compliance with all local and international customs regulations and procedures.
- Negotiate rates with the vendors and service providers to ensure cost-efficiency.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Business-fluent English (Verbal and Written).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required to effectively work with our internal teams from different disciplines, industrial customers, vendors and government agencies.
