Job Description
- Participating in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.
- Setting up best practices to help the team achieve the above and constantly thinking about improving the technology use are your responsibilities.
- Driving the adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, and performance in your team.
- Experiment with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you are able to create.
- Implementation of long-term technology vision for your team.
- Responsible for the architecture of your product; ensuring it is aligned to the requirements and the charter.
- Drive technology & tool choices for your team & be responsible for them.
Requirements
- 6 plus years of experience.
- Have deep expertise in object-oriented design principles using modern language (Java).
- Have experience in building and maintaining large-scale web applications in service-oriented architecture/ microservices.
- Knowledge of design patterns and an uncanny ability to design intuitive modules and class-level interfaces with experience in data model designing in SQL/NOSQLs.
- Have knowledge of at least one of the databases like MySQL, Postgresql or Oracle and one of the NOSQLs like DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Aerospike, etc.
- Have hands-on knowledge of Docker or Docker compose
- Have knowledge of monitoring tools like New Relic or Datadog.
- Have experience with CI/CD.
