About the Role
We are a growing indoor furniture manufacturer seeking a Finishing Manager to lead our stain
and painted finishing operations at scale. You will own color accuracy, finish quality,
throughput, and team performance across multiple lines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end finishing: stain, sealer, primer, base/solid color, glaze, topcoat, distress/antique effects.
Translate design briefs into production-ready formulas; manage color matching and master panels.
- Plan capacity, manpower, and shifts for a large team (400+), balancing lines and removing bottlenecks.
- Drive quality metrics (first-pass yield, rework, ΔE color variance, adhesion, gloss, scratch/chemical resistance).
- Establish and enforce SOPs, WI, check sheets, and mixing room standards (TDS/M SDS compliance).
- Coach, motivate, and develop supervisors/team leaders; build a high-ownership culture.
- Control finishing material usage/costs; coordinate with PPIC, QC, Engineering, and Procurement.
- Lead continuous improvement in safety, housekeeping, and process stability.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as a Production/Finishing Manager overseeing ≥400 staff.
- Deep expertise in stain and painted finishes (solvent & water-based), surface prep, and color control.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills; quality-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (spoken & written).
