Role Overview
The Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing, and driving sales performance across multiple FOOM retail stores. This role ensures sales excellence, strong customer engagement, and consistent brand experience through effective leadership, operational discipline, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Trade, Supply Chain, Etc).
Job Description
1. Sales Achievement & Growth
- Drive and achieve sales targets across assigned stores on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Monitor daily sales performance, conversion rates, and key retail metrics to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Identify new sales opportunities, implement growth initiatives, and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights.
- Support and execute national and local-level sales programs to maximize store productivity.
2. Store Operations & Brand Excellence
- Ensure all stores comply with FOOM's retail standards in terms of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and customer experience.
- Supervise the implementation of in-store activations, product launches, and promotional programs.
- Conduct routine store visits and audits to maintain consistent operational excellence.
- Ensure optimal product display, stock availability, and pricing accuracy.
3. People Management & Team Development
- Lead and mentor Store Leads and Sales Associates to achieve sales and service goals.
- Provide coaching, motivation, and guidance to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Manage store manpower planning, attendance, and discipline.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or development opportunities.
4. Customer Service Excellence
- Maintain a high standard of customer service across all stores, ensuring every customer interaction reflects FOOM's brand values.
- Handle escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement actions to strengthen satisfaction and retention.
5. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, store performance summaries, and improvement plans to management.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Trade, Supply Chain, Etc to ensure operational alignment and smooth execution of programs.
- Communicate new promotions, pricing updates, and product launches effectively to all store teams.
Requirements:
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail operations, sales supervision, or area management, preferably in FMCG, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing multi-store performance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading frontline teams.
- Excellent understanding of store operations, merchandising, and retail execution standards.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to monitoring performance and identifying improvement areas.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly for store visits and performance checks.
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer electronics, lifestyle, or vape industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, sales dashboards, and inventory management tools.
- Ability to develop and execute sales training or incentive programs.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of omnichannel retail dynamics.
- Experience managing in-store events or retail activations.
- Experience using tools for performance tracking (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or influencer dashboards).
