Role Description
This is a casual/on-call remote role for an ICT Support Officer. The ICT Support Officer will be responsible for maintaining remote connection to client sites, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving ICT issues. The role will involve managing and maintaining IT systems, networks, and software, providing support to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of communication and information systems. Additional responsibilities include setting up hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and providing training to staff on ICT tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Technical support and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with IT systems, networks, and software
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining hardware and software
- Ability to provide training and support to end-users on ICT tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications in ICT or related fields
- Experience in the geotechnical or mining industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
