Mencari Product Design Researcher untuk SKitchen

What you will do:

Design Research & Insight Gathering
Conduct research on consumer cooking behaviors (interviews, observations, surveys).
Benchmark international cookware & lifestyle trends (materials, ergonomics, aesthetics).
Analyze competitor products (local & imported) to identify gaps and opportunities.
Synthesize findings into actionable design briefs.
Concept Development
Translate insights into product concepts, mood boards, and simple mockups.
Generate multiple design directions with clear rationale (the "why").
Collaborate with graphic & marketing team to visualize product storylines.
User Testing & Validation
Prepare prototypes/mockups (can be low-fidelity models).
Organize user testing sessions and collect feedback.
Document usability issues and propose improvements.
Brand & Product Identity
Help define SKITCHEN's design language (signature handle, lid knob, surface finish, color palette).
Ensure consistency across product families (cast iron, enamel, stainless steel, accessories).
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work within R&D team, closely with the operations team, suppliers, and QC to align product feasibility with research.
Support Marketing with design insights for storytelling, packaging, and positioning.

Qualifications:

Background in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
Strong ability in design research, user studies, and trend analysis.
Skilled in concept sketching, ideation, and visualization (doesn't need advanced CAD).
Strong communication & presentation skills (can translate research into clear direction).
Curiosity, empathy, and awareness of cooking culture (local + global).
Bonus: Experience in lifestyle/kitchenware/furniture industries.
