AYANA Hospitality is in search of a dynamic Assistant Director of Sales for our prestigious AYANA Midplaza Jakarta property. This role calls for a strategic thinker with a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven ability to drive sales and enhance customer relationships. As an Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, formulating sales strategies, and fostering long-term relationships with key clients to maximize revenue and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement aggressive sales plans to achieve revenue and market share growth
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to ensure optimum performance and professional development
  • Adeptly handle key client accounts and negotiate contracts to secure business
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and evaluate competitor activity
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Participate in promotional events and trade shows to enhance the hotel's visibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and CRM systems
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Indonesian is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions
