Job Description:
Support the implementation of new color, material, and decorative technology projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Research and evaluate new printing and finishing technologies (e.g., pad printing, screen printing, digital printing, laser marking, coating, hot stamping) relevant to decorating injection‑molded parts.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare samples, run printing trials, collect data, and document testing outcomes.
Execute and monitor secondary process trials to ensure high‑quality standards during development and commercialization phases.
Organize and maintain records of test results, color and print trials, material evaluations, and sample submissions.
Assist with communication and follow‑ups with suppliers regarding decorative processes, printing specifications, and quality expectations.
Participate in customer feedback sessions by preparing relevant samples, technical reports, and summarizing insights for the team.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and durability of printing and decorative finishes on injected parts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, materials science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in color and material development, with hands‑on exposure to injection molding and secondary finishing processes (e.g., pad printing, screen printing, digital printing, hot stamping, laser marking, coating, or decorative treatments for plastics).
- Solid foundational knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and tooling, combined with expertise in printing and surface decoration technologies for plastic/injected parts.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, scheduling, and resource management.
- Experience in the footwear, sporting goods, or related manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional and external collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality‑driven mindset, ensuring consistent, high‑standard outcomes on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
