About the role

As the Sales Admin Supervisor at PT Obor Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of the sales team. This full-time position is based in Surakarta, Central Java, and involves overseeing the administrative tasks that underpin the company's sales activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and oversee the daily administrative tasks of the sales team, ensuring efficient and accurate record-keeping
  • Process sales orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements, and responding to customer inquiries
  • Assist with the preparation of sales reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with the finance and logistics departments to ensure seamless coordination across the organisation
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor junior administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales administrative or supervisory role, preferably within the office supplies or related industry
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with sales and administrative software, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, is an advantage
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • A team player with the ability to lead and motivate junior administrative staff
