Responsibilities
  • Responsible for capacity analysis and line arrangement based on customer forecast.
  • Participate in factory floor planning, layout planning, logistics route planning, and life support resource planning.
  • Ensure that production capacity, efficiency, investment, and manpower achieve design goals or expectations.
  • Participate in lean implementation of the factory, improving production capacity and efficiency indicators, allocating production resources, and promoting automation.
  • Analyze existing workflows and production methods to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste, and develop data‑driven solutions.
  • Lead and participate in projects utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, applying tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Collect and analyze key operational data on production rates, resource utilization, and quality metrics to measure performance and pinpoint improvement areas.
  • Apply ergonomic principles to design and improve workstations and tasks, minimizing worker fatigue and increasing safety and efficiency.
  • Create and deliver training on new procedures, communicating benefits to secure stakeholder buy‑in and ensure smooth adoption.
  • Analyze and design efficient production systems to optimize workflow, manpower, and resources.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Support new product introduction by evaluating production feasibility and requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to efficiency and utilization.
  • Implement industrial engineering techniques to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and optimize production methods, layouts, and workflows.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with production, planning, and quality teams to streamline operations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Provide training on continuous improvement for operators.
  • Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Prepare and update production layout, manpower planning, and time studies.
  • Support product and process development from trial to mass production.
  • Monitor and evaluate equipment performance and utilization.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, engineering, and planning departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost‑benefit analyses for process improvements and new initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and control plans for manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze cycle times to maximize production output and resource utilization.
  • Design, develop, and manage production line layout design and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain and improve the standard working time database and manufacturing standard piecework hours.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment; at least 3 years in automotive or energy industry also acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean methods, JIT, VSM, KANBAN, one‑piece flow, and other engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with IATF16949 quality system and safety standards such as QMS, OHSAS/K3.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and other office software.
  • Experience in statistical process control (SPC), Minitab, and related analytical tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a proactive and results‑oriented approach.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus; fluency in English or Mandarin also preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel or attend offline interviews at specified locations.
  • Familiarity with CAD operation and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, time study, line balancing, production jigs and equipment.
  • Experience using computer‑aided design (CAD) platforms and SAP or other enterprise software.
