Service Engineer Electrical (Marine & Power)

Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Marine Systems, or Mechatronics.

5+ years of related experience (preferably in marine and power plant)

Strong technical and commercial understanding of business operations

Competency in project management principles, leadership, and technical report writing

Deep familiarity with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Strong customer orientation and effective communication skills in English

Proficiency in Microsoft-Office

Placement in Jakarta or Surabaya

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical service installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, overhaul for engines and turbochargers manufactured by the company and affiliated companies on seagoing vessels and power plants.
  • Perform extensive maintenance, repairs, services, and major overhauls on all types of Everllence engines and turbochargers, including complex equipment such as vibration dampers and hydraulically pressed cams, in accordance with specified guidelines and work cards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports; ensure availability of necessary tools, materials, and parts.
  • Execute LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) prior to commencement of any assignment and utilize appropriate PPE and HSE materials.
  • Efficiently prepare for upcoming service assignments, including spare parts checking, special tools compilation, and documentation review.
  • Develop work timelines and monitor project completion deadlines, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Plan and coordinate fieldwork with manpower allocation and work processes optimization.
  • Act as the technical instructor, advisor, and coordinator for assigned service technicians and engineers, coaching them on planning, maintenance, commissioning, performance testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during field assignments, offering expert advice and maintaining professional representation of Everllence.
  • Provide support for customer claims, process warranty cases, and liaise with Headquarters when necessary.
  • Create comprehensive service reports and analyze maintenance data to propose improvements.
  • Report incidents, accidents, near-misses, and equipment failures, and recommend remedial actions.
  • Enforce and monitor HSE policies and procedures according to Everllence standards.
