About the role
We are seeking a talented and driven RnI New Product Development Officer to join our dynamic team at PT Khong Guan Biscuit. In this full-time, office-based role in Central Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in driving the development and innovation of new biscuit products that delight our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to identify opportunities for new product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design and develop innovative biscuit recipes and formulations
- Oversee product prototyping, testing and validation to ensure products meet quality and safety standards
- Provide technical expertise and support to the production team during the manufacturing process
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform the new product development pipeline
- Document and maintain detailed records of the new product development process
- Present new product proposals and recommendations to senior management
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline
- Strong technical knowledge of food science, food processing, and quality control procedures
- Have minimal 2 years experience in Research & Development or NPD
- Have working experience ini FMCG industry (Biscuit or Snack)
- Understand the trial process planning (formulation, validation, and product stability testing), costing and production processes
- Good in sensory tasting
- Able to innovate and product develop
