⚙️ About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Engineer – Paint Shop who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and improvement of paint shop processes and equipment. This role will involve technical problem‑solving, production line support, and coordination with maintenance, quality, and production teams to achieve efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing paint shop operations.
- Strong understanding of paint process systems (pretreatment, e‑coat, basecoat, topcoat, oven, etc.).
- Familiar with paint shop automation systems, conveyors, and booth control systems.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Willing to work at Subang Factory, Indonesia .
- Support paint shop daily operations to ensure process stability and product quality.
- Analyze equipment performance and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to solve technical issues.
- Develop and monitor paint shop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in new model introduction and equipment installation or commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and 5S standards in the paint area.
