Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wool Dyer located in Banten, Indonesia. The Wool Dyer will be responsible for preparing and mixing dye solutions, dyeing wool and wool products, and ensuring that the dyeing process meets quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring dye baths, adjusting dye formulations to achieve desired colors, and maintaining dyeing equipment. The Wool Dyer will also be responsible for recording dyeing procedures, troubleshooting any dyeing issues, and following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in dyeing, textile processing, and fabric treatment
- Knowledge of color theory and dye chemistry
- Ability to operate and maintain dyeing machinery
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience in the textile industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in textile or dyeing technology is a plus
