Astro is looking for a passionate and data-driven Market Research Lead to spearhead insights gathering that will guide our product, pricing, and growth strategies. This role will focus on understanding customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive trends to help shape Astro's future in quick commerce. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, pricing and strategy teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business impact.

Job Description:

  • Lead research initiatives to analyze market trends, user experience, customer preferences, and pricing competitiveness.
  • Design and manage both quantitative and qualitative studies, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and focus groups.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, promotions, and new offerings in the market.
  • Translate research findings into strategic recommendations for product, marketing, and expansion teams.
  • Build and maintain research frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Partner with external research agencies when needed, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency.
  • Present insights to senior leadership and influence decision-making with clear, data-backed storytelling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or related field (Master's a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, management consultancy or strategy, preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or technology sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of research methodologies (quantitative & qualitative) and statistical analysis.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data into clear business insights.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
