Head Chef – Pastry & Bakery

Location: West Jakarta, Indonesia

(Indonesian Citizen Only)

Responsibilities:


• Lead the development of innovative pastry and bakery products.


• Supervise and mentor the pastry and bakery team.


• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all products.


• Conduct market research and trend analysis to keep the product line relevant and competitive.


• Manage product testing, refinement, and standardization.


• Oversee cost control and efficiency in recipe development (COGS management).


• Collaborate with management and other departments to align product development with business goals.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and production processes in the kitchen.

Requirements:


• Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef, Head Baker, or R&D Lead in a professional kitchen or bakery.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Deep understanding of flavor balance, texture, and modern pastry/bakery trends.


• Expertise in viennoiserie, artisanal breads, modern pastries, and dough techniques.


• Experience in product development and standardization.


• Strong business acumen and understanding of production cost control.


• High attention to detail, creativity, and passion for innovation.


• Available to join immediately is a plus.
