Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth execution of all operations related to signature event and custom event
- Find new sophisticated ideas and concepts for conference events
- Manage the event budget (RAB), invoicing, and accounts payable process while managing the team on an event-by-event basis where necessary
- Solicit, select, negotiate, and manage external vendors
- Manage VIPs and senior stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
- Make recommendations for new vendors, consultants, venues, and other external resources needed in the execution of events
- Make recommendations on what sponsorship activations may be possible at selected venues
- Establishing project management protocols for each project tailored to needs and teams
- Manage and direct onsite staff and team members to ensure successful event delivery
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field
- A minimum of 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in offline events and meetings planning is required for this position
- Preferably experience in handling big conferences
- Comprehend in event budgeting is a must
- Experience as an Event Manager preferably within a professional event service firm
- Ability to prioritize projects and work with other team members to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel
