Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on professional to join our team as a Regional Business Development Manager for our water filtration division. This role is ideal for someone with both technical know-how and strong business sense, who enjoys meeting clients, handling projects and growing the business in Indonesia and the region. You will be championing a top German water filtration brand that we exclusively distribute in Indonesia and Singapore.
- Take the lead in driving and growing sales of our water filtration systems across Indonesia and Singapore, with regional exposure
- Guide and support local technical teams to ensure solutions are properly designed, installed and delivered to meet client expectations
- Build strong long-term relationships with consultants, project owners and contractors
- Oversee the technical and commercial process, working alongside the sales team to ensure strong follow up and successful deal closure
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and client needs to identify new project opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Work closely with general manager and sales to execute strategies and drive product adoption
- Use your business acumen to shape sales strategies, grow the project pipelines and improve project win rates
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, trade shows and training sessions
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless handover from sales to execution and support customer satisfaction post-project
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or relevant experience in the industry
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or business development in water treatment, HVAC or building systems
- Strong understanding of water filtration systems, including system design, site applications and installation process
- Basic knowledge of water chemistry and/or experience with chemical dosing systems is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead effective teams
- Effective communicator with team members, clients, and project stakeholders
- Based in Indonesia and able to travel to ASEAN countries when required
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in dynamic environment
