GENERAL DESCRIPTION

HR Operations Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, administering benefits and expat formalities, and supporting organizational processes and projects.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations:

  • Support recruitment processes by assisting with sourcing, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
  • Oversee the preparation, issuance, and management of employment contracts, extension letters, and employment status changes, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian labor regulations.
  • Follow up on contract extensions and probation reviews with department heads.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure timely induction of new hires, including documentation, system setup, and orientation.
  • Manage structured offboarding procedures, including exit interviews, clearance forms, equipment return, and final documentation, in line with legal and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready employee records, both digital and physical.
  • Administer employee health insurance, including movements, claims processing, and record-keeping, while liaising with insurance providers to resolve issues and respond to employee queries.
  • Assist with BPJS Kesehatan reporting and movements.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to the Ministry of Manpower, including company regulations, terminations, and related matters.

Expat Formalities:

  • Support expatriate employees/guests with visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Coordinate with external consultants/agents to ensure compliance with local immigration laws.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all expatriate-related documentation.

Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Provide support on special or cross-functional HR projects as assigned by the direct manager, including process improvements, policy reviews, system enhancements, and initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations with a strong track record in compliance and employee lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of Indonesian labor laws and employment compliance.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
