What You'll Do
- Handle daily financial accounting and tax activities for film distribution operations, ensuring all records, invoices, and reports are accurate and on time.
- Record and reconcile revenues from box office reports, licensing fees, and distribution deals with cinema partners.
- Review and prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and monitor film performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to film distribution, royalties, and licensing agreements.
- Work closely with the distribution and marketing teams to provide financial insights that support release strategies and negotiations with partners.
- Maintain and improve financial processes and controls to manage risks and ensure transparency.
- Stay alert to opportunities for process efficiency and system improvements in financial tracking and reporting.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting and tax, ideally within media, entertainment, or distribution industries.
- Strong technical accounting skills and good knowledge of Indonesian financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Ability to analyze revenue flows from film distribution and box office reporting.
- Proven experience in setting up and improving financial processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments (distribution, marketing, operations).
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced film business environment.
