We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries to understand business needs and drive system transformation within the health insurance domain. This role will play a key part in ensuring our portals and internal systems are accurately designed, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in health insurance operations, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operational leaders and software developers.
Key Responsibilities- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable system requirements.
- Identify improvement opportunities and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Document current and future state processes, highlighting areas for efficiency, automation, and system enhancement.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear system designs, ensuring alignment with development teams.
- Create comprehensive test plans, lead operational teams through testing cycles, and track progress against agreed timelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, and process maps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, operational teams, and senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Lead discussions and requirements workshops, ensuring alignment of expectations across business and IT teams.
- Support policy administration, claims, provider, membership, and billing system enhancements as required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the health insurance industry (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in English (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of core health insurance operations, including:
underwriting, policy administration, endorsements, membership management, claims processing, benefit structures, and provider networks. - Experience working with policy administration systems, claims systems, provider systems, or billing systems.
- Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FSD, user stories, use cases, process flows).
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and lead requirements discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
