Marketing Specialist (MS)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in SEO (google ads, website marketing, social media etc.) and email marketing through Mailchimp. You will be required to develop and implement strategies to promote our products, solutions, and training (PST) while building brand awareness, and increasing sales. This will include tasks such as market research, campaign planning, content creation, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Marketing Strategies: Creating and executing marketing plans aligned with company goals.
  • Building Brand Awareness: Promoting the company's image and products through various channels.
  • Conducting Market Research: Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
  • Creating Marketing Content: Developing content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Managing Marketing Campaigns: Planning, executing, and monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Analyzing Campaign Performance: Measuring results, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Working with sales, product development, and other teams to achieve marketing goals.
  • Staying Up to Date: Keeping abreast of the latest marketing trends and technologies.

Specific Key Responsibilities:

SEO & Analytics

  • Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Perform keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO optimization, and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
  • Identify high-intent aerospace/aviation keywords based on audience and location.
  • Track advertisement performance (clicks, conversions, cost-per-click), visitor behavior (who, when, where), and audience engagement.
  • Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and email marketing best practices.
  • Create and launch Google Ads campaigns, including:
  • Search Campaigns: Capture users searching for PST similar and related to our offerings.
  • Remarketing Campaigns: Re-engage past website visitors to maximize lead conversion for our PST.
  • Provide insights into:

Advertisement performance (clicks, conversions, and costs per click).

Visitor behavior (who is visiting, when, and from where).

Audience engagement and lead generation insights.

Email Marketing (Mail chimp)

  • Plan, design, and execute targeted campaigns, including list segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Create engaging, relevant content to nurture leads and retain customers.
  • Configure and optimize Mail chimp account, including domain integration for deliverability.
  • Import, manage, and segment contacts for personalized campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with consent requirements (e.g, GDPR).
  • Deliver weekly reports on open rates, click-throughs, and engagement levels
  • Set up domain integration for better email deliverability.
  • Ensure professional account settings to meet industry standards.
  • Import and manage the email list provided by Flight Data X.
  • Segment contacts for targeted campaigns.
  • Send up to X emails monthly to Y number of contacts.

Advertising & Campaigns (Google Ads & Retargeting)

  • Create and manage Google Ads campaigns, including:
  • Search Campaigns:
    capture users actively searching for offerings.
  • Remarketing Campaigns:
    re-engage past website visitors for lead conversion
  • Perform in-depth aerospace-specific/voice data specific keyword research and location-based targeting.
  • Develop seasonal campaigns and tailored strategies for different offerings.
  • Design 12-16 ad creatives per campaign across multiple formats, testing variations for effectiveness.
  • Identify high-intent keywords based on target audience and specific locations.
  • Develop strategies for promoting diverse offerings, including seasonal campaigns and location-based targeting.
  • Develop custom audiences and lookalikes for retargeting across multiple offerings.
  • Target specific groups, including:

Aerospace & Aviation Professionals: flight safety officers, flight data analysts, FOQA/FDM staff, safety and flight ops managers, directors, and executives, avionics & aerospace engineers, maintenance personnel, and pilots.

Organizations: airlines, aircraft manufacturers, aviation regulators, aircraft accident investigation authorities and bureaus, maintenance repair stations (i.e. – AMO/MRO), aviation training institutions and universities.

Social Media & Content

  • Manage company presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other applicable marketing platforms.
  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to the aerospace and aviation industry.
  • Design graphics, visuals, and short form videos to support campaigns and website development.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure cohesive branding across all channels.
  • Provide insights into:
  • Advertisement performance (clicks, conversions, and costs per click).
  • Visitor behavior (who is visiting, when, and from where).
  • Audience engagement and lead generation insights.
  • Develop content and acquire media, videos, and photos in parallel and with the final approval of FLDX.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Align SEO, advertising, email marketing, and social media efforts with internal teams.
  • Work closely with web development to support site updates and campaigns.
  • Generate clear, concise reports for leadership, highlighting performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay current with trends in digital marketing, aviation-focus advertising, and audience engagement.
  • Send up to X emails monthly to Y number of contacts.
  • Ensure smooth scheduling and delivery of email campaigns.
  • Develop and implement a tailored email marketing strategy for each contact.
  • Deliver offers at different levels and at different times to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Utilize segmentation to craft personalized messages based on recipient preferences and behaviors.
  • Deliver detailed analytics reports every week, highlighting campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in digital marketing with a focus on SEO, email marketing, & social media.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Mail chimp or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus for email template customization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
