About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Merchandiser to join our growing team at PT. Gaoshi Building Material Technology. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the visibility of our products in retail stores across Tangerang Banten. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Implement and maintain effective merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and visibility in assigned retail outlets
- Liaise with store managers to ensure our products are displayed prominently and in accordance with company guidelines
- Monitor stock levels and replenish products as needed to maintain optimal inventory
- Gather and report on key sales data and customer feedback to inform our marketing and product strategies
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and in-store activities
- Identify and address any issues or challenges related to product placement, availability or competition
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all merchandising activities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sales Merchandiser or in a similar retail/customer-facing role
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with store personnel
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with retail merchandising best practices and trends
- Good understanding of consumer behaviour and product placement strategies
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting
