About the role
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Golden Cup Printing. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our procurement processes to ensure a steady supply of high-quality materials and resources to support our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position based in Kendal, Central Java.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's production and operational needs
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
- Monitor and analyse market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements
- Manage the procurement team, including setting targets, providing training, and evaluating performance
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance departments to align purchasing activities with overall business objectives
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing procurement processes
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to purchasing activities
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement management role, preferably in the printing manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of negotiating favourable contracts with suppliers and managing relationships effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
