About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Executive Chef
with a deep passion for authentic Indonesian cuisine to lead our culinary team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of traditional Indonesian dishes, ingredients, and modern presentation styles, with proven leadership experience in managing high-end restaurant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and excellence in every dish.
- Develop, innovate, and refine Indonesian menu items that reflect both authenticity and creativity.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance and hygiene.
- Oversee food preparation, portioning, and presentation to ensure premium dining standards.
- Manage food inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with management to design seasonal menus, promotions, and special events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a
premium Indonesian restaurant
. - Strong expertise in traditional Indonesian cuisine and regional flavor profiles.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen management, budgeting, and cost control.
