Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Performance:

  • Lead, monitor, and analyze overall retail sales performance across all stores, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Set and oversee monthly and annual sales targets for stores and retail teams.
  • Drive initiatives to improve sales conversion, average transaction value, and customer engagement.
  • Evaluate store-level performance and implement strategic action plans to optimize results

Operational Excellence:

  • Establish and implement operational standards and SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency across all stores.
  • Oversee daily retail operations, including staffing, stock management, and customer service quality.
  • Manage and approve store commission schemes, budgeting, and operational costs.
  • Ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Retail Strategy & Expansion:

  • Develop and execute retail expansion strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Analyze market potential, customer behavior, and location opportunities to identify new store sites.
  • Oversee lease negotiations and relationships with landlords, malls, and property developers.
  • Ensure all new store openings are delivered on time, within budget, and meet brand and operational standards.
  • Review P&L performance of existing stores and ensure the financial viability of future openings.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation:

  • Ensure store layouts, displays, and visual elements align with Bobo Tokyo's brand guidelines and marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with marketing and design teams to support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal updates.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the retail management team to achieve operational excellence and sales growth.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for retail staff.
  • Ensure that all teams uphold company values and provide outstanding customer experiences.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management, including sales data, KPIs, and strategic insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements across retail operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Retail Head, Operations Manager, or similar).
  • Proven success in driving multi-store retail operations and expansion projects.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze P&L statements and manage budgets.
  • Deep understanding of visual merchandising, retail design, and brand presentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects across regions.
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a passion for retail and customer experience.
