IT Lead (Digital Transformation Partner)

Are you a former Technical Programmer who has grown into Project Management or Technical Lead roles? This role gives you the opportunity to drive real digital transformation and serve as the key technology partner supporting global Oil & Gas trading operations. You will help shape the digital roadmap, lead a hybrid IT team, and ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives that support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute digital transformation initiatives.
  • Architect scalable and secure technology solutions aligned with global standards.
  • Manage a cross-functional IT team (internal staff and vendor programmers).
  • Oversee software development projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Manage systems, applications, and integrations including SAP-related workflows.
  • Collaborate with global teams and report progress in English.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a senior, lead, or PM role.
  • Strong background as a Technical Programmer, transitioning into PM or Technical Lead.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, system architecture, and Agile delivery.
  • Knowledge of cloud, enterprise systems, and integration tools.
  • Experience with SAP integration is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Able to work with multicultural teams and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
