We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Freight Forwarding Staff (Export Import) in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to handle complex logistics challenges.
Responsibilities:
Handle the full cycle of export and import processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with shipping lines, airlines, and agents.
Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements for international trade.
Communicate effectively with clients, overseas partners, and internal stakeholders.
Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
Strong command of English.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of incoterms and international trade practices is an advantage.
Willingness to work as an outsourced employee.
Thorough understanding of export and import documentation.
Experience handling export and import processes for customer goods in the field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a freight forwarding operations staff.
