Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day quality control activities across production lines
- Act as the primary liaison for local buyer quality inspections and requirements
- Support expatriate (TKA) QC staff and provide translation/coordination assistance when needed
- Review and approve inspection reports, ensuring compliance with buyer standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and coordinate corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and monitor QC SOPs and quality standards
- Lead and train QC staff to strengthen inspection consistency and buyer satisfaction
- Coordinate with production, laboratory, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure timely communication of inspection outcomes to management and buyers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Quality Control within manufacturing/footwear industry
Proven supervisory/leadership experience
Fluent in English (spoken & written)
Strong knowledge of buyer requirements, inspection protocols, and compliance standards
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred but not required
Experience working directly with international buyers in footwear industry
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
