Job Summary
APP Group is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Expert to oversee and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical and control systems in our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of MCC, DCS, AC Drive, and PLC systems, ensuring plant uptime and compliance with technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical and instrumentation systems across the plant.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Motor Control Centers (MCC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), AC Drives, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Ensure the proper installation, calibration, and testing of instrumentation and control devices.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrument index lists.
- Review and update E&I technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and electrical codes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in electrical and instrumentation roles within industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical expertise in: MCC (Motor Control Center), DCS (Distributed Control System), AC Drive systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) — preferably Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider.
- Excellent understanding of industrial automation and process control systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willingness to be based full-time in Malang, East Java.
