Our company PT Golden Ocean Line operates and owns bulk carrier in Indonesia. We are fast leading shipping, warehouse and container yard provider in Indonesia.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Fourth Engineer (4th Engineer) to join our Bulk Carrier fleet. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical knowledge, hands-on experience in engine room operations, and a strong commitment to maritime safety and engineering standards. As an essential member of the engine department, you will support the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the main engine and all auxiliary machinery. You will work closely with the Second and Third Engineer to ensure the vessel's propulsion, power generation, and mechanical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with international regulations.
Requirements
- Holder of Certificate of Competency (COC) Class III – OICEW (STCW III/1).
- Valid STCW Certificates (MEFA, AFF, PSCRB, MFA, SSO, etc.).
- Minimum 1 year sea service in the engine department; experience on Bulk Carrier vessels will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of main engine operations, auxiliary machinery, and engine room watchkeeping duties.
- Familiar with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and ship management systems.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is an advantage.
