Purchasing Supervisor
Work Location:
Cikupa, Tangerang
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Supervisor (FMCG/beauty preferred)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills; detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Discreet exposure to cross-border purchasing/logistics (Incoterms & documentation) is a plus
- Willing to work on-site in Cikupa, Tangerang
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead & Manage Packaging Purchasing Team:
Supervise day-to-day activities, allocate priorities, and ensure procurement supports the production plan - Reporting:
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports (progress, issues, KPIs, and team needs) with actionable recommendations - Cross-Department Coordination:
Partner with Planning/Production/QA/Finance/Warehouse/Logistics (as needed) to align targets, resolve issues, and secure on-time availability of materials - Monitor Performance:
Track team productivity, PO accuracy, lead times, and supplier OTIF to meet service and cost targets - Sourcing & Vendor Management:
Run RFQs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate price/terms, and maintain an approved vendor list to ensure quality and competitiveness - Inventory & Cost Control:
Coordinate reorder points/safety stock with PPIC; drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines - Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure purchasing complies with SOPs and audit requirements; maintain complete documentation in ERP and shared records
