About The Role

BC leads Next Level footprint strategy and supply network optimization, including new Greenfield sites and Brownfield projects. The BCOS GF Leader guides the project team and works with local management to develop the new organization, technical capabilities and deployment of the BCOS work process.

The role focuses on delivering a high-performance, fully capable SC organization that achieves Vertical Start-Up (VSU) status and drives continuous improvement across the value chain in line with site targets and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on setting up a project team aimed at delivering VSU with assets designed and operated at Autonomous Maintenance Step 3/Progressive Maintenance Step 4 as per BCOS pillar structure. With the Plant Manager and Project Team, produce the project and start a master plan with start-up targets/objectives, covering SC balanced scorecards across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment.
  • Lead lean/TPM program implementation in blue chip contexts and support TPM Early Management initiatives during startups.
  • Travel to support global meetings and site activities – approximately 10 to 30%.
  • Typical deliverables for Brownfield projects and Greenfield start-ups include:
    • Zero LTA and compliant process safety/people safety standards
    • Zero quality defects with Cpk above 1
    • OEE ≥ 85%
    • Schedule compliance ≥ 90%
    • Net productivity +4% year over year
    • Engagement survey score ≥ 90%
    • Energy/CO2 reduction 2–4% year over year
About You
  • Bachelor/Master degree required, preferably in Engineering
  • Advanced level of English
  • Clear ability to understand business needs and develop/deploy a strategy to reach business goals
  • Deep expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies (TPS, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, High-Performance Organization)
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, drive accountability and direct others
  • Extensive experience in practical TPM implementation, including Early Management Pillar
  • Experience in senior operations roles (e.g., Site Engineer, Plant Management) is advantageous
  • Safety of people, process and product is a top priority
  • Strong ability to influence and facilitate change across the organization
  • Knowledge of Cultural Change Management
  • Software proficiency: Google Workspace, Excel, Word, Minitab (or similar), MS Projects; SAP ERP knowledge desirable
  • Exceptional coaching, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cultural and Management Changes and practitioner of Continuous Improvement (TPM, Lean Manufacturing essential; Six Sigma a plus)
  • Experience in project management and governance systems
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to lead BCOS program without formal authority
  • Experience leading Supply Chain areas such as Manufacturing Operations, Planning, Logistics/Distribution and Procurement
  • Ability to support make-or-buy studies and business case analysis for brownfield and/or greenfield projects
