Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in process engineering, technology implementation, or project/business development.
- Experienced in chemical, petrochemical, or renewable energy sectors.
- Prior involvement in pre-FEED or early-phase engineering projects is highly desirable.
- Strong foundation in process simulation, design development, and techno-commercial analysis.
- Skilled in OPEX/CAPEX modeling, regulatory review, and process safety (e.g., HAZOP, SIL).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Exposure to plant operations and procurement processes is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Technology Exploration & Business Feasibility
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in chemical and renewable energy fields (e.g., SAF, blue/green ammonia, hydrogen, CC).
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop preliminary business cases.
- Interact independently with technology and equipment vendors.
- Monitor market trends and propose new investment opportunities.
Pre-FEED & Process Engineering Integration
- Lead technical evaluations of new technologies during pre-FEED.
- Coordinate development of Basis of Design (BoD), PFDs, and input data.
- Validate design assumptions with licensors and consultants.
- Support cost estimation, risk review, and safety assessments in early project phases.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Partner Engagement
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to align technical and commercial elements.
- Coordinate risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL) and integrate safety standards.
- Bridge Business Development with Engineering, Operations, and Vendors.
