Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in South Jakarta, Indonesia for a Procurement Manager. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement processes, overseeing contract management, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in event management, field force operations, or brand activation industry.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract negotiation, and sourcing strategy.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale projects and multiple vendors simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and cost-optimization abilities.
- Familiar with compliance, budgeting, and risk management related to procurement activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement-related tools/software.
- High integrity and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement process for Event Organizer, Field Force, and Brand Activation projects.
- Develop vendor sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Manage vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and service-level terms with suppliers and third parties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Project, Finance, HR, and Client Service teams) to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budget constraints, and legal requirements.
- Monitor and control procurement budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, agencies, and other business partners.
- Manage risk in the supply chain by identifying potential issues and providing solutions.
- Provide procurement reports and insights to management for decision-making.
