About the Company
We are a leading main construction contractor specializing in data center development. Our projects demand high precision, strong technical knowledge, and strict adherence to cost, quality, and timeline standards. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial and cost management aspects of our ongoing and upcoming data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, bills of quantities (BoQ), and tender documentation for data center construction projects.
· Evaluate and compare supplier, vendor, and subcontractor quotations to ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Conduct cost control and financial reporting throughout all project stages.
· Manage and monitor variations, change orders, and progress claims.
· Support contract negotiation, procurement, and tender evaluation processes.
· Work closely with the project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective project execution.
· Conduct site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
· Prepare monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
· Assist in resolving contractual and commercial disputes.
· Ensure all cost and commercial documentation complies with company standards, policies, and client requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in MEP Engineering or related field especially has a strong knowledge and experience in Quantity Surveying.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer role within construction or infrastructure projects (data center experience preferred).
· Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Negotiations, etc.
· Can both speak English and Bahasa
· Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
· Knowledge of MEP systems and data center-specific infrastructure is an advantage.
