We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Division Manager – Industry & Mining Segment to lead the development and execution of sales strategies across Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (volume, revenue, and net contribution).
- Lead and manage Regional, Senior, and Area Managers in the Industry and Mining segments to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Monitor and control sales pipelines of Sales Managers and distributor teams, working closely with Key Account Managers to drive growth in specialty segments nationwide.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to ensure long-term, profitable growth within the Industry, Specialty, and Mining segments.
- Manage Distributor Business Planning processes (annually & quarterly).
- Act as liaison with Regional ISEA and Global Headquarters on emerging industry and mining technologies, products, and developments.
- Identify and monitor tender opportunities in the Industry and Mining sectors (including cement).
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop internal and external marketing tools such as brochures, leaflets, success stories, exhibitions, and advertisements.
- Oversee account administration related to industrial and mining segments, including contract management, lubrication charts, credit monitoring, and customer database maintenance.
- Work closely with Regional and Global teams to ensure effective contract implementation, product supply, and service delivery for national and key mining accounts.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, and Technical teams to support business development initiatives.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales performance reports
- Monitor industry and mining news, market trends, and regulatory developments to provide market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and recommend strategic actions.
- Lead new product and SKU development based on market demands, particularly for the mining segment.
- Focus on niche, high-margin product mixes supported by effective marketing tools and initiatives.
- Develop and propose pricing strategies for Industry and Mining key accounts and distributors to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities within the Industry and Mining segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new product and service requirements that meet customer needs and capture emerging opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, business ethics, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in distributor management.
- At least 3 years of experience in the mining and industrial lubricant sector, preferably with a multinational company.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Proven experience in customer development and sales/key account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications
- Self-motivated and proactive, with strong learning agility.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in leading strategic project development and execution.
- Proven track record of winning tenders with key strategic customers or state-owned enterprises.
